Abstract
With increased rates of children identifying as trans* at younger ages and the profound influence of family and school environments on children’s mental and emotional health, it is vital that counselors are prepared to work competently with trans* and gender nonconforming youth and their grownups. Through this interactive presentation, participants will explore key content areas, skills, and training experiences necessary work effectively with trans* youth across multiple environments.
