I am an instructor at the National Defense University's College of International Security Affairs interested in security issues, intelligence history, and US foreign policy.

I have a BA in Political Science from Pittsburg State University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Military Arts and Sciences (MMAS) in Conflict and Security Studies from the US Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC),a MMAS in Theater Operations from the CGSC's School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), and a PhD in Security Studies from Kansas State University.

Professional Memberships include; Term Member Council on Foreign Relations and the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
