Abstract

Video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is being used increasingly to evaluate and treat intrathoracic pathology. Port-site seeding is a rare but feared complication when minimally invasive surgical techniques are used in the evaluation and treatment of malignancies. The authors report a of port-site seeding after thoracoscopic resection of pulmonary metastasis from an osteogenic sarcoma.
