Abstract
Considering the primary use of the HAA is to be ISR, a sophisticated, high-powered radar system is an obvious need. Because high power requirements are not practical options for an autonomous airship that is required to stay aloft for months or years at a time, DARPA was forced to consider an alternative approach.
