Abstract

The article discusses the perception of color, a word used exclusively to refer variations in visible light. It explores the history of the discovery of color and how Isaac Newton in 1670s concluded that white light was a combination of all colors of light, making color perception as an issue of variable absorption. It also highlights how the spectral colors, representing colors with light, generating color with pigments differ from each other.
