Abstract

The article discusses the group theory and the symmetry in line to some application of spectroscopy. It notes that a group theory is one of the fields of mathematics that includes the treatment of symmetry. It also introduces different operations that are used to define the symmetry of an object including the rotational symmetry, reflection symmetry, and the improper rotation. Further, different figures of symmetrical elements are also presented.
