Abstract

The article discusses the discovery of spectroscopy by physicist Gustav Kirchhoff and chemist Robert Bunsen. It states that Kirchhoff and Bunsen investigated the use of spectroscope in demonstrating chemical basis of spectral lines. In addition, the development of quantum mechanics made into reality through the investigations made by Kirchhoff and Bunsen.
