About David Trimble, Ph.D.

I am a clinical psychologist with a practice in Brookline, Massachusetts. I teach the Multicultural Family Therapy Seminar at the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology at Boston Medical Center, the oldest psychology internship program in the country that specializes in culturally sensitive practice with marginalized populations. My publications include the topics of dialogical practice, multi systemic work with problems around learning disabilities, social network therapy, integration of spirituality and psychotherapy, and leadership training for Israeli and Palestinian Youth.
I am a Board member of American Family Therapy Academy, Founding Board member of the Artsbridge Institute, which integrates training in the arts and in a reflective model of dialogue for leadership development of youth in areas of conflict, and advisor to the Director of the Transformational Prison Project, a restorative justice program working in correctional institutions in my home state of Massachusetts.
