Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Dr. David Peters completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. He completed a post-graduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency with a teaching certificate at UC Health – University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Peters enjoys implementing pharmacy-built orders into hospital electronic medical records to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Peters has been involved in research throughout his training with interest areas in stress and learning, infectious disease, and critical care. He maintains a clinical practice site at Miami Valley Hospital, where he specializes in neurocritical care and post-stroke management
