Like the Dew: A Journal of Southern Culture & Politics

Abstract
Compared the time capsule said to have been placed under the statue of Robert E. Lee in Richmond (1890) with one placed in the cornerstone of the Bartow County courthouse (1902). Both demonstrate the pervasiveness of the Lost Cause, but they also show later efforts to make history more inclusive.
