On April 16, 2024, the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University held a panel discussion on Professor Eric Patashnik’s new book, Countermobilization: Policy Feedback and Backlash in a Polarized Age.

Participants included Professor Patashnik; Andrea Campbell, Arthur and Ruth Sloan Professor of Political Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; David Mayhew, Sterling Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Yale University; and Jim Morone, John Hazen White Professor of Political Science and Public Policy, Brown University. The moderator was Wendy Schiller, Director of the Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy, and Alison S. Ressler Professor of Political Science, Brown University.
