I have a passion for strengthening communities and families to prevent and disrupt the outcomes associated with inequity. By moving upstream (prevention), we as a community can intercept the deleterious social influences that impact this generation and the next.  I utilize a multidimensional framework to gain knowledge and implement interventions across communities to increase wellness. Scholarly areas of interest are prevention, health disparities, mixed methods research, community-based participatory research, and spirituality/religion in counseling.
