About David Jaffe

David B. Jaffe is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. He oversees all aspects of the Office of Student Affairs, which includes support for JD students from Orientation, through academic and personal counseling, organization development, to Commencement. David also has directed WCL's June programs in Chile and more recently in Turkey. He received a BA in Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. David previously served as director of alumni relations for AUWCL and also as special assistant to the dean. His current work
focuses on substance use and mental health issues facing the law student community, for which he speaks nationally on a regular basis. David has been recognized for his work inter alia, with the 2015 CoLAP Meritorious Service Award.
