About David Fuller

David A. Fuller, MD is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.  He is the Program Director for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program and a co-Course Director for the Musculoskeletal Course at the medical school.  He is the Director of the Hand and Nerve Center at Cooper University Hospital.  He works as an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in orthopaedic trauma surgery, hand and microvascular surgery and neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation surgery.
 
Dr. Fuller graduated from Dartmouth College in 1987 and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.  His residency training was completed at Case Western Reserve University in 1997.  He was an Allen Research Fellow from 1992-1993 and completed 2 additional fellowships, the first in Hand and Microvascular surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and the second in Neuro-orthopaedics at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.
 
Dr. Fuller has worked, written and lectured extensively as an expert in orthopaedic surgery.  He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). He is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA), the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Association (ORA, including past president). He was recently inducted into the prestigious American Orthopaedic Association (AOA).
 
In addition to his clinical work and scholarship, Dr. Fuller has volunteered for local, regional, national and international relief organizations. He has helped to lead local health care efforts as well to try to ensure that quality, affordable, accessible care is available to the people in the South Jersey Community.
