Abstract

The following illustrates some initial research activity conducted by the authors in the field of electrical load forecasting based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). This paper outlines the use of two neural network architectures: multi-layer feedforward and generalized regression neural networks. The best model bad its performance improved by adding fuzzy logic to create a Fuzzy Neural Network (FNN).
