About Darcie Hill, MPH, RDN

Darcie Hill is the WWU Wellness Administrator and head of the Faculty and Staff Wellness Program. Darcie received her B.S. degree in Human Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, her Masters of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion, Health behavior at Oregon State University, which is also where she completed her coursework to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). While pursuing her Masters at Oregon State Darcie had the opportunity to be a Graduate Research Assistant for the WAVE: Ripples for Change Project, with the goal to develop and test an obesity prevention and healthy lifestyle program for active teenagers. Darcie’s primary focus was nutrition lesson development for in-class lectures to high school soccer teams. She also served as the Nutrition Coach and delivered the lesson to approximately 600 youth in the Corvallis, Salem, and Eugene, Oregon areas.
