About Danielle Gainer

Dr. Danielle Gainer is an Associate Professor at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM).  She also serves as the Director of the Division of Research within the Department of Psychiatry. She serves as the Principal Investigator for numerous research studies but also spends time teaching medical students and residents about research, eating disorders and substance use disorders. She spends time working clinically as an outpatient psychiatrist and addiction medicine physician at local community mental health agencies. She works collaboratively with other departments at BSOM, including the Department of Family Medicine and The Center for Interventions, Treatment and Addictions Research (CITAR).
