About Daniel Koloseni

Daniel Koloseni is an assistant lecturer at the Institute of Finance Management in the Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics. He holds Masters Degree in Information Security and Biometrics from University of Kent- UK. His teaching experience including teaching Business Processes and Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Information Technology in Organizations, Information security and Audit control and Management of Technology and Innovation.
Daniel Koloseni’s has organized and conducted several workshops and consultancies in ICT and he is author of several research papers, one book and two book chapters. He has been a programme coordinator of several undergraduate programs at the Institute of Finance Management and currently is serving as a programme coordinator of Masters of Science in Information Technology and Management that is offered by the Institute of Finance Management in collaboration with Avinashilingam University of India since year 2008.
Daniel’s research interest lies in assessment of students preparedness in using social networks and mobile devices for learning, implementation e-learning systems (in particular moodle developing ICT policies and Security education, training and awareness programme (SETA). Others are business processes and Strategy formulation, biometrics authentication technologies, , social Networks for e-learning, E- wastes issues.
