Undergraduate Researcher
Daniel Murdock was born and raised in Central Florida. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences and plans to pursue an MD degree and become a physician. As an undergraduate research in Dr. William Self's lab he spent a year working on the expression, purification, and characterization key metabolic enzymes in Clostridium difficile and presented a poster on this project at the 2018 Showcase of Undergraduate Research (SURE). He has since transitioned to studying metabolism in C. difficile via growth studies.
