In order to contribute to the Braziliandebate regarding competition law in digital markets, this paper systematizes what it understands to be the competitive dynamics of these markets, listing the elements that distinguishes it, and identifies the challenges that such dynamics will bring to CADE’s jurisdiction of merger control. Therefore, this paper will map the international debate regarding digital markets and scrap some ideas about the relation between CADE’s institutional enforcement tools in merger control and the antitrust impacts of new technologies.
