About Daniel Castelo

Daniel Castelo is a Christian theologian who is a graduate of Lee University (BA in psychology), the Church of God Theological Seminary (MDiv), and Duke University (PhD). His research and writing focus on mystical, dogmatic, and moral theology. He has lectured and given academic presentations in England, Scotland, Germany, Honduras, Brazil, El Salvador, Ecuador, and various locations in the USA and Mexico. His first book, The Apathetic God, won the John Templeton Award for Theological Promise, and he has served in formal capacities within the American Academy of Religion and the Wesleyan Theological Society.

Daniel Castelo es un teólogo Cristiano, graduado de Lee University (BA, psicología), Seminario Teológico de la Iglesia de Dios (MDiv), y Duke University (PhD). Sus investigaciones y escritos enfoquen en las áreas de la teología dogmática, moral, y mística.  Ha enseñado o dado presentaciones académicas en Inglaterra, Escocia, Alemania, Honduras, Brasil, El Salvador, Ecuador, y varios locales en EEUU y México. Ganó el premio Templeton para Promesa Teológica por su primer libro, The Apathetic God y ha servido en capacidades para las asociaciones académicas American Academy of Religion y Wesleyan Theological Society.
