Professor Dale Olson’s teaching is centered in the intellectual property area as well as trade regulation or antitrust law. Olson’s scholarship has centered on the varying concepts of authorship as well as a treatise-length work on civil litigation practice in West Virginia. His engagement or service has focused both on the rights involving free expression and due process, along with a developing engagement in efforts to involve and retain incoming students combined with advising artists and authors on intellectual property issues.
