About Dale H. Freeman
Dale H. Freeman was the Digital Resources Archivist at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He was an archivist for 13 years in the Healey Library's University Archives and Special Collections and worked closely during those years with retired University Archivist Elizabeth Mock.
Dale's area of study, aside from archival methods and digitization, is in the many aspects of Boston's fascinating history. As a graduate student of history, his mentors were Dr. James O'Toole, formerly of UMB and now a professor at Boston College, and Thomas McMullin, retired professor of Boston urban history.
