About Daji Qiao

Dr. Daji Qiao is an Associate Professor and the Director of Graduate Education in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He received his PhD degree from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan under the guidance of Prof. Kang G. Shin. Prior to that, he received his MS and BE degrees from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, and Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, respectively. Dr. Qiao's research interests are in the area of wireless networking and mobile computing. He is particularly interested in algorithm innovation and implementation for IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks, system modeling and performance analysis of wireless sensor networks, and pervasive computing applications. He was awarded the department's Harpole-Pentair Developing Faculty Award in 2008. Dr. Qiao has served on the organizing and technical program committees of numerous networking conferences.
