COLUMBIA SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY LAW REVIEW (2017)
  • Curtis E.A. Karnow
Abstract
The note reviews the application and operation of artificial neural networks, and proposes a test for the admissibility of opinions generated by such artificial intelligence systems. The discussion includes a review of the admissibility of computer stored and computer generated evidence, including computer simulations.
The note appears in a different format as a chapter in W. Barfield (ed.), The Cambridge Handbook of The Law of Algorithms (2021).
