About Charmaine E. Troy

Charmaine E. Troy is a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education Administration at Morgan State University. Charmaine earned
her masters degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University in 2010, and bachelor of arts in Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. Charmaine's research interests include access, equity, retention, persistence, and the college experience of racial and ethnic minorities, particularly black females, within the context of historically Black colleges and universities.
