Abstract
There have been some exploratory studies of institutional repositories among academic libraries, but few have focused on costs. This research surveys U.S. academic libraries hosting IRs and asks what are the costs associated with implementing and maintaining them. The findings will benefit librarians and administrators with their IR related decision-making.
