About Cristina Pino

Cristina M. Pino, M.A., CCC-SLP joined Sacred Heart University in July 2015, following a decade of experience in medical speech-language pathology.  Her clinical focus targets the assessment and treatment of adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders within acute, sub-acute and long-term care rehabilitation facilities. Cristina has served on traumatic brain injury and stroke teams, fostering an inter-professional treatment approach.  Professor Pino directly supervises graduate student clinicians completing a first year clinical practicum experience within community-based medical facilities.
