Abstract
France retreated. Panama retreated. Mexico retreated. Canada retreated. Brazil retreated. In the early days of his current term, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened all these countries with the imposition of trade tariffs unless they complied with certain public policies within their territories or otherwise ceased actions perceived as contrary to American interests. These so-called "bluffs," as some describe them, have achieved remarkable effectiveness. However, what if we analyze these threats as a planned strategy, applying Game Theory? This is precisely the analysis we will undertake in this paper.
