About Constance B. Bouchard

Constance Brittain Bouchard, Distinguished Professor, is a specialist in medieval European history. Her particular interest is the social and ecclesiastical history of France between the sixth and the thirteenth centuries. Among her many books are Sword, Miter, and Cloister (1987), Those of My Blood (2001), Knights in History and Legend (2009), and four collections of Latin charters.
