About Colin W. Maguire

The main thrust of my research revolves around a concept of "Practical Environmental Stewardship." I am an active learner, dogged inquirer, and constant writer.
I enjoy serving on the City of Lansing, Michigan's Planning Commission and promoting environmental sustainability through efficient and marketable means. I hope to cultivate a comprehensive body of work that starts with political philosophers, impacts the marketplace, and ends in the classroom where the next generation can benefit from our successes and mistakes.
I have enjoyed some great experiences on my own journey in terms of research and publication. I hope for much more in the future. More than anything, I hope to understand how my work can achieve practical application.
