Dr. Coiette Gaston is a Lecturer I at Prairie View A&M University. She completed her dissertation in 2021 entitled "Cultural Relevance of United States History textbooks to African-American, Hispanic American, and Asian American Community College Students. Dr. Gaston received her B.A. in History from Prairie View A&M University, her M.A. from Texas Southern University, and her Ed.D. in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
