Abstract

Between 25 to April 27, 2013, occurred the First Business Meeting of Captive Piscicultura Rondônia with the intention to adopt public policy related to the sustainable development of the tambaqui in captivity market segment tracking market. The Fish Farmers Producers came in search of information and new business opportunities. It was an event sponsored by the State Government, organized by the Economic Development State Department and SEBRAE - RO - held in Cacaulândia – Polo Ariquemes - RO. The aim of this case study is to corroborate developing list of suggested performance indicators to assess the social and economic inclusion of producers in order to ensure Sustainable Development in Polo Regional of Ariquemes - RO - with the consequent increase in work and income generation. The specific objectives are: (i) to provide the market overview, showing which sustainable actions are being developed, and (ii) to understand the Amazon captive piscicultura as a social and economic inclusion instrument. The methodology of the analysis will be a case study - sample – and the approaches are theoretical, of secondary data, and field.
