Abstract

The overall aim of the research is to investigate whether there is food and nutrition security, specially to the single-parent families headed by women from 18 to 25 years, with the least 3 or 4 children and who undergo to Brazilian Legal Amazon cities to degrading working conditions.

Therefore, the studies make the man awaken and develop legal mechanisms to ensure adequate food as a right that dignifies the human being. Both the UN - United Nations - at the international level, as the Brazilian government at the national level, recognize the power while a fundamental social right. In addition, Brazil is one of Latin America countries that have a legal system for protection of the Right to Adequate Food - and produced a public policy for food security of the population in the 21 Century.
