About Dr Claudia Frances Catterall

Dr Claudia Catterall BSc(UQ), MSc(Qual)(UQ), PhD(SCU)
Claudia is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Environmental Science and Management, and is involved in teaching several units including Biology, Ecology and Plant Identification and Conservation.
Claudia’s research interests include coral reef seaweed ecology, rainforest ecology and native vegetation conservation, and her current research focus is on the conservation significance of small rainforest remnants in the Big Scrub area of northern NSW, an area which was previously the largest expanse of subtropical rainforest in Australia, but which is now largely cleared.
