About Clarissa Mansfield

Clarissa Mansfield began working at Western Washington University Libraries in 2006, and she has been the Communications Manager for the Libraries since 2013. In this role, she leads and manages the communication and marketing needs of all units of Western Libraries.

She received her M.Ed. in Environmental Education in 2014 from WWU's College of the Environment, with her master's project concentration in exploring the role of academic libraries in environmental education. She received her B.A. from WWU in 2001 in both Liberal Studies (now known as "Global Humanities and Religions"), and in English. Her research areas of interest are library communications, environmental education, and veganism.
