Abstract

Excerpt

As technologies evolve, become more accessible, and allow users to collaborate in order to solve problems, contribute, and create solutions, students, especially computer savvy students, are now characterized as prosumers. They are more active in shaping what is created, how it is created, and how it can be improved and organized online. Although they are doing so often when working outside of any classroom, as I will explain, these types of activities do have a place in the classroom, especially those activities that involve a great deal of writing.
