Abstract
This paper presents a prototype design of a smart assistant for healthcare appointment management and quick clinic registration. The functional requirements are first discussed and implementation techniques are introduced. In the prototype, patient fingerprint information is used for data access and data encryption, so that the operation is simple and the data security is assured. We believe that the smart assistant will make it convenient for patients to follow appointments and reduce clinic registration time.
