Abstract
Christopher Wise, Joseph Paré, and Sanou Salaka co-edited this volume in 1998. It contains numerous essays by members of R.É.L.I.S. (the Network for Research in Literatures of the Sahel) on diverse Sahelian authors such as Titinga Frédéric Pacéré, Yambo Ouologuem, and many others. All essays are written in French. The attached pdf includes Christopher Wise's essay on Yambo Ouologuem, "Yambo Ouologuem dans le postmodern: les débuts littéraires sur Le Devoir de violence deputies 1985."
