Description

Research and policy development to support the continuing improvement of the American federal-state unemployment insurance (UI) system is a cornerstone activity supporting the mission of the Upjohn Institute to "research the causes and consequences of unemployment, experiment with innovative ways to help the unemployed, and disseminate research findings." Many UI related research projects at Upjohn are specific externally funded activities. This is an Upjohn Institute internally funded project to record research and policy development activities not specifically related to funded projects. Upjohn research staff are welcome to join Chris O'Leary on project activities.
