About Christopher Seamon

I am a cultural anthropologist who focuses on cultural sustainability. I have synthesized the tenets of anthropology with the philosophy of sustainability in order to give me the skills needed to help pursue forging a well-rounded and equitable future. I am a cultural relativist - I believe that the experience of individuals is place based, historically influenced, and unique, meaning that interpersonal relationships must have a depth beyond just casual interactions. It is because of this that I am able to maintain cultural sensitivity and relativity with a strength in bridging cultural gaps among people through education and interpersonal relations, establishing strong rapport with members of diverse groups, and promoting team cohesiveness. My goal is to make real impacts in communities and to help others in building bridges cross-culturally.
