About Christopher Niemeyer

I am a reference librarian but library (bibliographic) instruction has always been an important part of my responsibilities, from lectures before groups to creating interactive, online tutorials. I am especially interested in teaching that is engaging and helpful. Teaching can be absorbing and even fun which does not mean that it must be funny. The tutorials in this profile are attempts to be interesting and even fun yet they don't emphasize humor as the means for effective instruction.

More tutorials will be added to this profile along with commentary describing what I feel is significant about each one.
