About Christopher Grundy

Christopher Grundy is Director of Choral Programs at Sacred Heart University. Christopher’s love for teaching has been an integral part of all his pursuits, and has given him the opportunity to work with students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
He holds a BA from Yale University where he was Assistant Conductor of the Yale Glee Club and the Yale Russian Chorus. He completed his Doctor of Music at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he was Associate Instructor of Voice and Graduate Opera Workshop. Christopher is Director of Music at the Unitarian Society of New Haven. In addition to his work as a conductor, Christopher is a critically-acclaimed operatic bass-baritone. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and of the Neely Bruce Music Foundation. He is also a commercial helicopter pilot and flight instructor.
