About Christopher Gadomski

Technical Director, Instructor and Scene Shop foreman Christopher Gadomski has been at Eastern Illinois University since 2012.  A 1998 graduate of the EIU Theatre Department, Christopher brings twenty plus years of theatrical experience with him having worked across the country in a variety of venues.  Previously he has had the pleasure to work as the Technical Director for Indiana University NW, an exhibitions preparator with The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL, and as a freelance scene designer in various regional theatres.

Christopher brings expertise in scene design, carpentry and props design & construction to the EIU Theatre Department and is excited to share his love of theatre with the students.  Outside of the EIU Theatre Arts Dept. Christopher works as a freelance scene designer and has been a member of the international prop master association S.P.A.M. (The Society of Prop Artisan Managers) since 2012.
