About Christine Garst-Santos

Christine Garst-Santos is an Assistant Professor of Spanish at South Dakota State University. She holds a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in Spanish with a Certification in Chicano Studies from Colorado State University, and a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature from the University of Iowa (2013). She has published articles on performance and identity in Don Quijote in the Bulletin of the Cervantes Society of America and eHumanista. She is currently working on a book manuscript tentatively titled Contestatory Subjects: Performance and the Politics of Recognition in Don Quijote.
