About Christine Brooks

Christine Brooks, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Expressive Arts Therapy program and CIIS and an independent coach and educator with over 20 years of experience integrating creativity and self-awareness practices into her own work and in supporting the work of others. She has a doctorate in psychology with specializations in clinical psychology and transformative education and research from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Areas of research and teaching expertise include diversity and multicultural counseling, qualitative research methods, feminist psychology, transformative education, and friends and social networks. Christine co-founded the Science of Friendship Project in 2012 because she believes that our capacities for interaction and connection are our greatest commodities.
