About Chris Corkery

Chris finished an MSc at the University of Manitoba in 2006 and relocated to Canberra, Australia where he completed a PhD at the Australian National University in 2010. He then spent almost two years as a postdoc in the Ragogna group, at Western University. Then he spent two and a half years as a postdoc in a CREATE group at the interface of physics, chemistry and neuroscience. Currently, he works at Sensoreal Inc., designing microfluidic devices for point-of-care health testing and casually at McGill University, teaching graduate students and postdocs how to better communicate their research.
Chris is active in the postdoctoral community, both with the Canadian Association of Postdoctoral Scholars (CAPS: http://sites.google.com/site/canadapostdoc/) and his local postdoc association at McGill (http://postdocassociation.mcgill.ca/).
