My research specialties include the archaeology of Northeast North America, hunter-gatherers, the origins of agriculture, ceramic ecology, geoarchaeology, heritage studies, and cultural resource management. I am the Dean of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, and a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Binghamton University, State University of New York.
