My research specialties include the archaeology of Northeast North America, hunter-gatherers, the origins of agriculture, ceramic ecology, geoarchaeology, heritage studies, and cultural resource management. I am a Professor of Anthropology, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research & Engagement for the UMass Amherst campus.
