MusKKat’s cultural brunch, usapín/usapan features a lively free-ranging conversation with anthropologist Cherubim A. Quizon, Ph D. She will relate her experiences in the field in Mindanao, ranging from conversations with weavers, use of language, tourism and heritage, and sundry others. Dr Quizon studies how ideas of nation, ethnicity and the self relate to symbols and transformations, whether approached as material culture art or popular imagery.
