Abstract
This volume presents artworks from Indonesia and the Philippines. These are two of the most diverse nations on Earth, and their material culture has been visibly influenced by the migrations and mingling of the Austronesian peoples of Oceania throughout history. This unique volume contains artworks from three major museums, and represents a portrait of the cross fertilization that helped give this island region its vibrant character.
